The Poor Folks Snowmobile Club is located in Sterling, NY near the southern shore of Lake Ontario.


Meetings are held on the last Saturday of the month at 8:00 p.m. at the clubhouse on Irwin Road in the town of Sterling from September to May.
The club hosts numerous social activities throughout the year including sledding parties, club rides, Christmas Party, and Chicken BBQ.  Visit the EVENTS page for a complete list and watch the newsletter for additional information.

Poor Folks Snowmobile Club

Founded in 1970, the charter of the Poor Folks Snowmobile club as established in Chapter II of the by-laws is:

A.  To bring together those interested in
     snowmobiling and associated winter
     sports.   To promote further
     enjoyment by mutual action.

B.  To establish a meeting place or
      clubhouse for holding of meeting
      and conducting   various social
      activities of the club members.

C.  To promote the cause and safety of
     snowmobiling by group action and
     rules of conduct.


D.  To petition against any proposed
      legislation believed to be unfair
      restriction of the use of
      snowmobiles.
